About the Instructor

Bethany Brown has been around horses all of her life. She entered her first horse show at one year of age! An avid competitor, she participates in many disciplines including: Mounted Games and PPG Dressage Show Jumping Combined Training and Pony Club Rallies Bethany has been a member of the Canadian Pony Club for 10 years and is presently a member of the Northwood Branch. She is working her way through the testing system, and also participates in Rallies, Quiz, Showjumping and PPG. Mentoring and testing younger members is one of the ways that Bethany gives back to the club.

Some of Bethany's achievements are:

• 200l Trillium Dressage Championships - at age 9 she was the youngest rider competing
• 2002 Canadian Pony Club National PPG "A" Championships in British Columbia
• 2003 Canadian Pony Club National PPG "A" Championships in Ontario
• 2007 Canadian Pony Club "B" Testing Level
• 2007 Canadian Pony Club "D" Examiner
• 2007 Ontario Equestrian Federation Youth Bursary Award Winner
• 2008 North Atlantic Rally Exchange Participant - one of 5 Canadian Team members

A dedicated coach, Bethany is continually upgrading her teaching skills.
